hmm lets see. we see fireman, roads, police, parks, schools and many other things but if you think you see nothing i feel ya. but just be glad you arnt in europe where gas is over 5per gal. and tax rates are over 50% for everyone and it a drivers license is a 3000 dollar fee.

Well, explain to me why we should be taxed on vehicles and homes simply because we own them... It's absolutely rediculous... and i'm sorry if I don't agree with everything i'm told... Remember, people who know that you have no way of knowing the truth will tell you what they want you to believe.

what do you mean spoon fed from birth. i got that info from a friend of mine who is a member of norways military who was a foriegn exchange student. its true we got it cheap. and he says we are stupid for not wanting it like his country.

cuz cars cant drive on non-pavement roads too well. so someone's gotta pay for the roads and highways thats often poorly engineered and doesn't handle realistic traffic load...
and houses dont sprung outta no where. local parks, school, public services.. its all mentioned.
*shrug* check your local city and state to see where ur dollar goes. yeah its true majority of it doesnt go towards what we think it goes.. those are taxed from other stuff heh. but if your ass gets fired right now.. and you file for unemployment.. those unemployment checks doesn't come outta thin air.
yes yes there's income tax too.
you can always get ur butt out and move to tax-friendly countries.. there's sooo many of 'em out there. you dont necessary have to lose your citizenship too.

dont worry you get paid to compenste for this. if taxes were cut we wouldnt get as many raises if taxes go up we would get paid more. it might not come in the form of raises but we would ask and get more at interviews. yeah no one likes paying taxes but dont worry they have always been around and will always be around.

Sure, it's one thing to say "be glad you don't live in a socialist country"... but then why cant we say "I want to live in a FREE Country"?
I don't mind paying a few taxes for Police, Firefighters, Schoolteachers, etc.
But the mismanagement of goverment is horrendous. They have so much, SO MUCH freaking money, and they mismanage is SO HORRIBLY. I don't want to pay for research on freaking red toed frogs, I don't want to pay for research on how much pigeon poop erodes statues in parks, I don't want to pay for senators to have a pay increase. I don't want to pay for people from foriegn countries to come in here, have babies and not increase the general appeal or contribute ANYTHING to this nation. I don't want to pay for bums to walk around on the streets. I don't want to pay for idiots who build their home in a place that floods every single freaking year, where insurance companies won't insure it... and when it floods and destroys the house, the gov't pays for it. Every year. I don't want to pay for ghetto people on welfare who end up having 22 kids and require their own house with several washers and dryers. I don't want to pay for illegal drugs for druggies to use. I don't want to pay for politicians to act like the budget is one big fun bag with money to spend how they want.
When it comes down to it, this country is so corrupt. I have to live here though.
The worst thing is that "experts" say "we need to increase taxes" instead of saying "we need to stop spending so much". It's ghetto. And it won't change. It'll only get worse....
Hating this country more and more...
