Exclamation the president

ok last time i tried to do this it got locked in 5 minutes. but i figure this is the political part of the site, so here it is.
some people like our president and some don't. i don't want this one to get locked so if your gonna post why you like/ dislike the guy, don't flame don't bitch and give decent reasons. back it up. and give an example of what needs to be changed
my .02 cents:
i don't like the way he runs the country, and the decisions he made. i think that he needs to get his priorities straight from other countries to taking care of this one. anyone else?

^My goodness, that LAST THING he needs to do it to start following what other countries do. That's the reason our nation is in the cruddy mess that it is right now, because we've tried to do things the way idiotic Europe does them... that just doesn't fly here in America.

I don't like that he was elected to reform the nation, make it a better place, and he basically sold out everyone that elected him to become the ho to the psycho radicals (Durban, Kennedy, Boxer, Feinstein) in congress. He's done all this liberal junk and they still hate him, instead of doing the conservative stuff that is what got him elected in the first place.... and then he's done some crap that NO ONE LIKES, like that whole CAFTA crap and illegal immigration.

^i can agree with this. well said in a nutshell. people forgot about the crap he said to get elected, which was half-hearted at best and was completely lost as soon as 9/11 (which is a whole other topic, but let it be said that they knew about it beforehand wtf with this convenience here?!?!).

I don't like most of the legislation he proposes. Here are a few:

- Tax cuts for the very rich, very Reaganesque. The poor get some relief but not much.
- PATRIOT Act: the cancellation of our civil rights, need I say more?
- Iraq: please, Mr. President, if you're going to fvck us, at least offer some vasseline. You can lie to me for money but don't lie to me and send people to die to fill your pockets. Now we're screwed because we can't up and leave yet he doesn't want to increase troop levels (he says the generals don't ask for them but the one that did got fired, no wonder they say they have enough troops).
- Stem Cells: you don't want to spend government $, fine, but don't cut funding to universities who want to spend their money to research it. This might be the science that saves many from suffering terrible illnesses in the future.

Well, that's what I have right now. I'm tired so I can't really think straight.

i was behind him for evil reasons. i wanted him to lock the borders from mexico. i wanted him to risk american soldiers to build a massive base in iraqs desert. i wanted him to create an economy with less govt subsidies so the poorly run companys would go out of business. i wanted him to crack the whip accros the back of unions(i am in one). and i wanted him to outsource dumb jobs that can be done cheaper in other countries. driving down prices here and forcing kids out of highschool to develop a skill or go to college not just getting into a union and coasting on half ass work at high pay.

however he didnt do any of this everything is going at the same rate as with clinton besides subsidies and tax brakes have increased. i will vote for hilary if she runs on the idea of building a wall (physical or electronic somethings better than what we have now) along the border of mexico and convicting contractors who employ illegals. plus if i believe everyone she ran the nation the way cheney does now and as i remember it the clinton years were good.

The war isn't about oil genius. Take a look around. Why do you think Iraq pays 5 cents a gallon for it? They're right at the source. We're not taking anything from them.

I kind of half to agree. Although he has made more money since oil went up, but I not that much more. The one making more are the people pumping out of the ground. I don't like him at all, but I do believe in being far, our oil problems is the direct result of China's growing middle class. previously only the very rich could drive a car in China, now the middle class can buy cheap cars and drive. In fact it is so bad over there that almost half the gas stations in China don't even have gas, and China pays $6 per gallon!!! So I really think the whole oil issue is not his fualt, I have yet to see how well his companies have done since he became president, but I'm willing to guess it's only fractionally better than before he was president.

Besides if that was the case, the Democrats would being welling for an impeachment so fast, since that's illegal and all.

How is it not about oil? Do you really think it was to free the people? Why not go into North Korea or any of the other countless countries were people are suffering and are under a dictator? The only reason to go to Iraq was to secure their resources.

Bush and his cronies (Condi, Rummy, and D!cky) are all oil people and, not only do they make money off of it, but their friends, the ones who contributed to their campaigns, are also making a fortune.

Yes I agree it was about oil, but not so much about Bush making $$$$$$$

Think of how much this counrty is cring because gas hit $3 a gallon, we are WAY to dependant on oil to let others have complete control over it with out us having any says so. At least by controlling Iraq, we have a small voice in OPEC. Since we have "stablized" Iraq, OPEC has been ever increasing the amount of oil being pumped out of the ground. Sure that puts money in Bush's pockets, but not much more than before.

this so called "president" needs to put a stop to the oil companies raising their prices like they are. gas prices MUST come down for the good of the american people and our way of life. if it keeps up, the price of EVERYTHING will increase, not just gas.

as for Katrina, EVERYONE knew what kind of impact this storm would have on the gulf coast, why wasn't the national guard deployed earlier?!?! why weren't food and supplies sent down before the storm for the people who didn't have the means to evacuate?!?! it is just completely unacceptable!!!

the pres went and had a press conference a couple of days ago and said there was no gas crisis. and then my governor declares a state of emergency. gas crisis it is then. i really wish that this country would stop giving out to others so much, i know its selfish but if it stopped trying to help everyone but ourselves we would be out of debt in no time. every country wants help in some way or another.

When couples that can't get preg have test tube babies, they dont use one egg cell and one sperm. The chances of it working then are slim to none. They use MANY, but only one is picked from the bunch.

So what do you have in the end? A happy couple and a s-load of extra stem cells. They dont keep millions laying around waiting for people that want someone else's kid. If bush is ok with disposing of them, then why not using them for the benefit of everyone else??

I feel that if one of bush's daughters were in serious condition and stem cells could fix the problem he would change how he felt.
