Wondering if anyone can help...
Have a left brake light that goes out when brakes are pressed.
Replaced fuse and bulb with no change.
Tail-light works fine when lights are on but tuens off when brakes
are pressed. Only on the left side though...???
Is there a relay that I can replace or could it be a problem in the harness itself?
Thanks for any input.
Mike

prolly an issue with the bulb socket. if you push the bulb too far, the contacts will short out. try pulling the bulb out a tiny bit after pushing in. if it lights up, theres the problem. make sure that the metal wires bent at the bottom are not sticking out at all. you can use a screwdriver to carefully flatten them if they are. theres supposed to be a lil knub at the bottom middle so it doesnt go in too far, but it doesnt always work. i had the same issue with a front signal bulb.
