Re: Gas Tank Door Doesn't Open

I bought it and it didn't fix mine as my cable had broken differently, but the company returned my money. Can't go wrong with them.

Re: Gas Tank Door Doesn't Open

Just tear apart the little lever assembly first and see whats actually wrong. Mine was broke right at the lever so i got the fuel door fix and it worked great, still does. Like Rufus said, can't go wrong with them. Install was easy as hell too.

Re: Gas Tank Door Doesn't Open

I couldn't justify $20 for a bent piece of metal so I just used 3 zip ties and it worked perfect. One around the lever portion, one around the cable portion and one between the two to keep them from separating. I broke mine a year ago and just 2 days ago had time to fix it.

Re: Gas Tank Door Doesn't Open

i hate those freakin fuel door release cables i have replaced over 50 of them on customers cars.. if you are under warranty hit up the dealer they know what to do. if you arent under warranty and are somewat mechanically inclined just buy the cable and do it yourself..its not that hard..
