yea, mine broke on my coupe but that fueldoorfix thing did the job, although the directions on there site are for a sedan and on a coupe you cant take off the bottom molding by the door, just have to squeeze your hands in do it like that....kind of a pain in the ass but yeah

Actually I watched the video, and in the vid, they removed the panel behind the seat, or right next to the back of the seat... did they arelly have to take that off? It looked like the spot on the cable they fixed was right next to the 'lock box' on the ground.

Another- how do you open your door from your trunk? anyone have a pic of that?

I fixed the fuel door myself on my 4-door 2003 civic...

I live in the Washington DC area and drove a few miles over the Virginia line to vist a mall and get less expensive gas - well, the darned fuel door would not open. Lucky for me I had 1/2 a tank. Even the Rockville, Maryland Honda person had not seen the problem - but he did help me open the door through the trunk (really hard to do). I found this site and viisted www.fueldoorfix.com and paid the $20. The small piece of plastic arrived fast in the mail. I watched the video and removed the panels. Those panels are hard to remove - but I did it. I snapped the plastic on the cable and - presto! My fuel door opened! What a great product. The Honda guy had told me the parts cost for the whole cable was at least $160 plus labor of course. So I think the product is a bargain. I really feel for people who are really low on gas late at night etc and pull into a station and have this problem.
