NEG

My parts manager sources out to other companies
we have two different filters, an aftermarket BLUE filter come in blue boxes and sometimes red boxes(different companies) and an OEM filter that we use on services. The difference in the two filters is pretty drastic.
We use the cheap filters on oil changes.

There's no way that fram makes those filters

I use K&N because its quality built and i can get it at autozone. sure autozone is for ricers but i only buy the oil and filters there. downside to K&N: its 13 bucks

Re: poll: what oil filter do you use?

Yup K&N's are quality built alright.. Just like the other champ filters that are much, much cheaper. Supertech, STP, and AC Delcos to name a few. The only bonus to k&n's is the nut on top of the oil filter, and the fact that they have a very high flow rate. Other than that, there ain't nothin special about them other than the high price.
