I'm at school right now so I drive about an hour and a half from columbia to STL at about 80-90 and then the short trips to walmart and things like that and my last tank i got 36.4mpg(lx manual). I love it right now, i was so happy when i saw that.
I'm curious to see what my mpg would be if i drove 55 all the way but im never gonna drive that slow on I-70

Blackpearl is an unknown quantity at this point
So far the max was 47MG, at speed between 35 mi/h (20%) and 65 mi/h (80%)
With City driving and highway misx 36-37MPG.
The last tank can come out as a new record, becouse I was Using 99% freeway up to now, drivind constantly at 65 mi/h (it is posible in Nevada).
I am almost sure that at 55mi/h can get even better milage, but no roads around to test. Maybe somebody in Nevada (the highways are so empty) can due it.

I wish I could just put a 10 on gas, I spend about $60-80 every 2 weeks on gas, that would be a 10 everyother day lol. But it's fun like you said.

Yes. This Civics can get a very good MPG.
I have 67000+ mi on my civic and get very good MPG.
Maybe somebody alredy mention this, but here is a good contest for how many miles you can get out of a tank (13.2 galo or 50l) of regular gas. Check out this link:

I did replace my OEM sparkplugs with iridium, which probably gain some + MPG, but I am not sure yet how much, becouse I did only 3 tank of gas after the spark plug change. As I gain more statistics I will post it.

yeah i definatley love the civics on my recent trip to NYC it is about 500 miles from house to house but i made it to jersey before i had to fill up again. i was doin 85 the whole way and i think if i remeber correctly i was in the 43-44mpg range. then i drove my dads pilot the next week for the same trip and he gets 22mpgs tops. that thing has the potential to get higher mpg if honda didnt use 1 7/8 exhaust piping on a 3 liter v6.

right now gas is at $2.03 a gallon. But about $0.75 of that is taxes, which I get back once tax time comes, so once I get my taxes back, that gas will cost me $1.28 a gallon.
