I went to Advanced Autoparts and got 2 replacement filters for 27 after tax. These are Purolator brand and it comes in a 2 pack(so they are around 13 each.) On the box it says "You should replace your cabin air filter every year OR every 12,000 to 14,000 miles"....
....
....
Eek I've never replaced my filter and I doubt the previous owners did either!
I did my filters today. I didn't believe all the crap I found in it. 3 dead spiders, 6 busted acorns a bunch of those helicopter seeds... And enough dust to make a gaggle of dust bunnies.

I think Honda recommends replacing the filters every 30k. More often if you live in the city. $25 every 30k isn't really all that bad. Youll probably spend $5 on gas driving around trying to find a lower price.
I made my own filters out of home air conditioning filters. I sized them up and installed them in the trays. I will post pictures. It took me about 15 minutes to make and install.

Handaaccessories are selling Micron brand ones for less than $10 each. Is Micron OEM replacement? I think in the meantime, I'm cleaning the original ones and then install replacements.
