I am going to change my ATF soon, so I am wondering which one is good. right now i am looking at the one from Amsoil ATF . Anyone tried them? Would that work for our auto tranny? it said its for Honda Z-1.
also how much should i get? I don't have the manual with me, so I couldn't look at it up. I think it like around 3 quarts or something. Also I will also be install a B&M tranny cooler, how much extra ATF do i need?

Put 3 quarts in. Run the engine till the fans come on. Then check the atf dipstick, if its a little low still add more to compensate for the tranny cooler.
oem only, 4 quarts maybe 5 so you have enough. The tranny cooler doesn't take much. After you refill, you warm up the car (either by driving short distance or letting it idle or pressing gas) and check fluid level again.

some said 3~4, 4~5 quarts...which is right? i'm about to get some OEM auto transmission fluid at $3.99 ea. .....so how many AT bottle do i needed to buy? also i'm goin install that B&M cooler at same time..
any DIY out there for change AT fluid.....i dont know wheres the bolt to drain out the fluid....
also whats best way to do AT fluid change, normally i parked my car in a ramp for oil change and rear tire stay in ground, is that help out to drain all out the AT fluid?
get 4 quarts for a regular drain and refill (you won't use all of it). If you have a tranny cooler, get 5 quarts. If the car is stock ride height, you can slide under from the front without jacking up the car. The drain bolt is underneath where the tranny is, kinda in the middle. It's the only one that fits a square socket wrench without attachments. Put a big pan underneath and remove the bolt. Clean metal off the magnet side of the bolt and reinstall. Then pour new fluid from the top. Warm up car, check fluid level again, and add more until it's at or near the full line.

damn i really need to change my atf i just dont have the time anymore with bad weather and working 6 days a week and i just hit 80k last night i better do this now since i have some time
