Rep Power: 0 All 4 cylinders misfiring
My check engine light came on about a month ago, and that same day I kept hearing a weird sound. So I went to auto zone to see what was up with the check engine, and the sounds I would here whenever I'd be in between 2k-3k rpm, and it was because all four cylinders were misfiring. I changed the spark plugs which were gapped for a 01 Civic, but it continued.A friend told me it may be the coil packs. I really don't know what to do. I plan on replacing the coil packs next. If it continues what should I do?

the coil packs really never go bad. Check the wiring from the ecu (make it so the ECU is accessible -- flip the glove box all the way down, start the car, jiggle the **** out of the wiring harness). If it starts to die, misfire, make funny engine noises, prolly got a loose connection somewhere.
Furthermore, do a compression check and follow up with a leakdown test if compression test results come back bad.
Double check for vacuum leaks.
