Which transmission fluid 93 Del Sol auto
Just bought a 93 Del Sol auto. trans What is the best fluid to use when changing? Book says Dex II will Z1 or newer Honda fluid be better? thx

Dexron 2, 3, or 6 (6 replaces all previous versions and is synthetic AFAIK)
Or Hondas DW-1. Also synthetic, and replaces all previous versions of ATF for Hondas.
All can work ok.

Oh, I need to backpedal here.
Direct quote from another professional forum:

compatible with previous GM transmissions. It was NOT
developed or tested to replace dexron III or any previous

where dexron III is used."
