Rep Power: 252 Antifreeze is pretty much antifreeze. I always buy Prestone just because i know the name, make sure you mix it 50/50 with water. Prestone makes a premixed version too if your lazy.

Rep Power: 246 i use honda coolant cause my coolant color is blueish green color instead of the standard green coolant. i would see wat color your car uses first before you add any coolant.

Although there are only a few antifreeze manufacturers, Honda specified a lower Borate and Silicate formulation for use in all late model Hondas. The lower level of these minerals minimizes the wear rate on the waterpump seal and bearing. There was an old article I'd read a few years ago about this on the internet. I'm sure for those who really wanted to know more can find it with a bit of searching.

Use Honda All-Season/Type 2 coolant. There are 2 colors now. Blue and green.
The new coolant is long lasting and is blue in color. It comes in a black 4 litre jug with a blue cap on top.
The factory long life coolant in the car is green. The old Honda All-season/Type 2 coolant is green in color.
The blue coolant can be mixed with the old green or green long life.
