Damn, Own3d by BLK!! lol
Do you realize that thread was active for almost a full year?!!
Anyway, at least he made us another thread and didn't just lock the other one without any explaination. So it's cool.
If anyone needs help with spring installs I can help, or do it for you. Me and my boys have it down to a science. We can do the full install in about 2.5 hours. That's from the time we pull the car in the garage, to the time we pull out. We usually do it at my friend's house because he has all the air tools and stuff. But the past few installs we've done at my other friend's house. He's got a 2 car garage w/ a heater in that biach so it's comfortable while we work instead of freezing our asses off. And for the summer.....he's got a big ass pool. He'd probably pay to BBQ too.

Alright, this question might sound retarded, but i just want to make sure. Tomorrow i am going to paint a few things in the engine bay and i was wondering if the color paint that i use, does it match the color that is on top of the can, like a blue cap or should i look for a certain color number? What kind of paint should i use also?
I am also going to paint my calipers blue. Ive never messed with any of that before. Is it hard to remove them?
I used plain old model paint that came in a spray can. It worked fine. Just make sure that you take all the parts you're gonna paint and wipe them down with alcohol before you paint em. For the calipers, you can use caliper paint. Advanced autoparts sells some sort of caliper paint in a spray can. I'm sure Pepboys would have it too. If you wanna clean your calipers really good before you paint, get some of that Meguiars Wheel cleaner (comes in a pink spray bottle). I cleaned mine and they came out so good I didn't want to paint them. lol
it is difficult to get the caliper off or you think i could figure it out?
Also, is there anything else i need to do dealing with the brakes or is it just take off the caliper and put it back on?
i just need some help with clearing my lights. mabybe we could have a mini meet thing at someones house and help each other out with installs and stuff. that'd be interesting and fun.
ok theres alot of stuff flyin around and i dont have time to answer/voice opinions etc etc SO instead...im gonna go out, get some food...chill then come back and reply to everyone? that sound cool? ur d@mn right it does!
oh my freakin gawd. i love the way that stock honda body kit looks on a silver vic. i have to have one. the wing is coming off tomorrow. i dont want it anymore. do any of you wnat it. selling for $100. the rims are coming off too as soon is i can get some stocks to go on it. i wnat some stock EX the 15's. he todd wanna sell yours. if i can get me some stocks i will repaint mine and clearcoat them and sell them. anybody wnat them. rims and tires $225.00 delivered. i wnat to go with some stocks bad.
Hey Luz, I know people that have left them on and painted them. But if you wanted to take them off it would probably be a bit easier. It's just 2 screws that hold the caliper on. But you'd have to just hang it off to the side and put newspaper over your rotors and fenders to paint. The only way to take it off completely is to remove the brake lines and then you have to bleed the lines when you hook em up again....that's a bit more trouble but it's up to you.

What kit are you talking about? If it's the Aero kit then we're ok......but if you want the regular OEM lip kit then we're gonna be twins. I've been savin up for that kit and I almost have enough. (if I don't have to spend any of that on books this semester ) Maybe I'll get the RS front lip instead. And about those stock rims.....well I'd sell em to ya, but I already sold them to someone else. Sowee. I'll check around town and see if I can't find you a good deal on some.

I thought you were gonna reply to everyone? F*****g Slacker!!
Yeah, the pics he showed me are the aero kit, not the lip kit. I'm taking off this afternoon to head to cali and I'll be back sometime Saturday hopefully....with my kit
ok, this is the last question and then ill have all i need.
I read this somewhere but i wasnt quite sure it was true. Whenever you take your rims off, is it best to get them realigned or would it be alright? (and im just taking the front two off)
