i'm down for march 8th. and burbon is pretty crazy right now with all the mardi gras people starting to come in. pants were dropping all over last night. good stuff.

i have air force duty march 8-9, it was scheduled the 1-2 but they moved it cause of mardi gras....sooooo

Are you goin over to twankie's for mardi gras this weekend? Mrs. Susan is roping off the whole carwash on the corner of texas and jackson. Anybody else should come on by. I'm comin down friday and hittin the streets. It's been a long time and my car looks a little different since last time I was down there. Ya'll look for me fri. if anyone's out. Nathan from Alexandria. i was at the thanksgiving meet in BR. silver '02 with the wing. took me long enough to get on the forum but better to join late than never , right. hey JW, told ya i was gonna get on. just had to find a free minute bro. so who's all going to the march 8th show ? kyle , you said your car looks different now . what all you do to it? i'll be out this weekend. i'll stop by twankies. holla

OK ...I found the DIY. Just a few ?'s would it be alright to use the plasti-kote honda silver paint? did you primer anything? what clear coat would you suggest? ( i dont have the funds to have it done) did you use paper when you taped it off or did you tape over the whole thing (the places you weren't painting?

ya Nuts, i talked to Jody today and im gonna meet u guys off the interstate, have u guys take the ocean springs exit off the interstate and meet at Denny's Ill buy us breakfast haha...then we caravan to my other house and work on the cars...of course i just thought of this while sittin here so i havent told Jody and of this haha

not sure how tight your schedule is pearl on saturday with going to NO and all, but lets not meet too too early. There is the mandeville parade friday night and im having a party at my place afterwards. Yall are more than welcome to come, just let me know.

hey pearl and aem i found out bout that car show that is going on in gulfport. it will be the 21st and 22nd of june. at the rice pavilion on the beach at the end of hwy 49. and thats for anyone else that wants to go and show there cars also. if you need a flier pm me your address and ill send you one with instructions on how to get there. i wont be there, ill be at work. so let me know who want directions to it. lata

I wouldn't recommend anything other than professional quality paint matched to the color of your car. This is the exterior and it's gonna be exposed to the elements 24/7. You can pick up a pint of whatever color paint your car is from napa for about 40 bucks. The clear should be top of the line. I used no primer because you aren't trying to seal anything or fill anything and that just adds to thickness. I used thin line tape to get around the curves and masking tape for the insides. Hope that helps man.

That sure does help. I might just save up and get the lights,grill, door handle, and trunk molding all done at the same time. I appreciate the info and I'll let eveyone know how it turns out. thanks again
