Way off topic.....How's it looking in New Orleans? We were gonna go down there last weekend but I didn't know what the situation was like. Is the French Quarter all messed up? I'd like to make it back over there, get me some crawfish etoufe and beinets. lol

Its back to normal..especially the quater and downtown.
The westbank (where i live), is alive and thriving, as well as Metairie and Kenner. Just stay out of MidCity and New Orleans East, and you're fine.
Goodluck finding Crawfish Etoufe, crawfish is out of season. Unless who ever makes it uses Chinese crawfish. Go for some seafood Seafood Gumbo or Shrimp Creole.

I was joking, we had some good etoufe last time we were down there at Ralph and Cacoos, the closest thing we have to New Orleans style food over here is Copelands over in Pensacola, lol, and we usually go to Cafe Dumonde when were down there in New Orleans
Dude if yall want some REAL cajun food, homemade, come to my house, or well my grandma's. She makes anything and everything! It great too! She makes chicken and seafood gumbo ,etoufee, jambalya, all kinds of things from scratch. All we boil crabs, shrimp, or crawfish a few times a month.
well she is leaving for MS on Sunday, then on Friday her and my aunt are going visit my cousin, my aunts son and wife and grandkids, in Malaysia and she wont be back until Thanksgiving lol.
no but seriously if yall all agree on something, assuming she can get it not like crawfish or something, i can get her to make it and i can bring it to yall for the meet. she can make ANYTHING, just let me know and I will ask her to cook it when she gets back from MS and before she leaves to go overseas

also Suzy, I wont be able to make it down to meet up with you at the truck stop. I can give you dirrections if you would like to go that way but I am pretty sure that it would be quicker if you would take I-10 to BR then get off on the LA 1 exit. Where at in NO are you coming from?
