I'll be there and might even enter the car into the show if I can get the cf hood, cf trunk, altezza grille, and cross-drilled brembos (still need to find out if he's getting rid of these) from wes and put on by then. Wes-Hit me up!
We should plan on meeting up at like the concessions stand at a certain time.
I might even be out there this weekend for the road races, just spectating for now.
anyone ever been in a car audio competition....what exactly do you have to do besides tune your music. Do they give you a certain cd, who places the mic, ect..?

Never entered in one, but I've been to a few. Basically, they give everyone the same CD (or should anyway) to level the playing field with the same sort of music, usually Techno of some kind so that both nice tight bass and low rumbling bass can be taken advantage of. Then one of the guys putting in on will get in your car with you and let you turn it up as loud as you want. They will usually have headphones for both you and him/her. The judge, the guy in the car with you, will put at tester somewhere in the car, should be in the place in the car as everyone elses...and this is usually between the windshield and the dashboard. The tester gives the decibels (dB) of your car and posts it on a LCD ticker, kinda like what your 1/4 mi. time shows up on. I think the tester also reads SPL (sound pressure level). Now a SQ (sound quality) competition is a whole nother ball game is measured differently I believe.
Hope that helps.
You should enter man. I'm sure you setup will knock the socks off of some of these other guys.
Best I've run was a 16.3. I might run, but not in the bracket racing.
