my car is sick, almost died

Well i got back home from Mandeville saturday night and realized my car was making a funny noise near the alternator and ac compressor. I try not to drive it hardly any until today when i took it to the doctor(Honda).

Apparently a piece or something to do with the timing belt fell off and was clinging around.

yeah. Im lucky my car was even driving. They are going to take a closer look tomorrow when they gets the parts in to make sure everything is alright and no other damage was done.

Oh yeah, I searched, and apparently this happened to another member on here about a month ago.
this is what he said:
"there is an old rusty bolt stuck in the very bottom wedged against the cover and the belt. its like the belt was trying to suck it in but there is only soo much room so it couldnt move any farther."

yea i have heard about this happening before. Any Idea how much it will cost to get fixed ?

it should be covered under warranty...i have had it less than 3 yrs and it has 30,000 miles. I got the extended warranty, im not sure what that covers up to. Im going to find all that out when i go up there next.

Got my free rental today. I was going to get a compact, but they didnt have one sooooo i got a 2004 Ford F150 v8 Triton 4x4. I decided to pay the $13 dollars a day insurance. Going mudding with my friend and his truck tomorrow.
