Shift Knob/Boot Fix

Well here's what you need in order to keep that silver ring to snap onto the bottom of your aftermarket shift knob.

I'm not sure if this will work with ALL knobs, but i know most of them its a "yes"
thanks to evanl85 for this info also

INFO:

go to your honda/acura dealer and tell them you need this:

Part #: - '08999-BAK-100'
$6.34 from my dealer.

Just connect it to your silver ring, and it goes down the shifter to a certain point then it stops, then you screw on your shift knob.

Here are some pictures to show you want was all involved.

have been for a while now, but so quiet..

most people dont like the look of them, but hell, my skunk2 knob, i dont even see it!

glad to help

I just got my adapter put on. I modified mine to be a little different than Steve's adapter.

The other dealer said he didnt have, never heard of it and didnt say he could get it...The first guy,i think, didnt kno what i meant so he just gave a random price..now i dunno if i should order it n see what happens or not...but it cant be $40 can it?
