I posted up my rims onto craigslist, but i do not want to get scammed, so i was seeing if this looks a little bit fishy (does to me) "I need the item and i wish i can pay in cash but since i am not local and always moving. However,i am currently out of town on an official duty for the company i work for and i won't be back until November,i hardly av time for my personal dealings,but that will not disturb this transaction as i need it asap..However,My method of payment will be via cashier's check,which i will draw from the bank and mail to u to cash at your bank,I will also like to let you know that I'll also be responsible for the pickup at your location because I also have a horse to pickup as well. i think it will be nice to pay you with certified cashier's check.This check will be a combined payment for both the item and the shipping.. so once you have it cashed, you deduct the fee accrued to you and send the excess to the shipper who needs to be paid upfrontly. and then the item will be picked from you.. lmao. if all it said was cashiers check, i would say its legit. cashiers check is issued by their bank and funds are actually pulled from their account to make out the check. so youre guaranteed money. its pretty much the same as a money order, which is like cash. unless ofcourse the check is fake, and its pretty easy to tell when you get it. even the bank can tell you if its fake or not before you cash it. usually if a posted reply is longer than 1-2 short sentence, its fake.
