22 year old guy having sex with 16 year old girl

Hi. Long time reader, first time poster. I found this in a fitness forum. A guy, 22, wants to have sex with a girl who's 16. I'm the dad of a 1 year old daughter. I am worried about her enough as it is, but I cant think of how much I'd worry about this if this was my daughter. I'm angry about this guy doing this, am I right to be angry? Truth be told 16 is old enough for consent here in Iowa so you can be angry all you want but some people think it is old enough to make a wise decision. Personally I don't think anyone that is not past their freshman year in college really knows how to make a good decision, but thats just me.

I'm 22. *rolls eyes* 16 is too young though, 18 is too young even... 19 is border line, I wouldnt want to hook up with a girl younger then 19 or 20 though. Wheres all the 22yr old girls at!!

Anyways, He seems to have slight morals kuz he hesitated. Legally its acceptable... but ethics is a whole other ball game that I dont even want to play.

Fact is, hes 6 years older then a 16 year old... he doesnt have very good game if thats the best he can do. But at the same time, all hes trying to do is fvck, from what I read anyways. He doesnt make very good choices on the fly- some girls call him an asshole, then he picks up two of the same shirt. I mean seriously.

I dont think you should be worried, I mean, not many guys want to hit on ur 1 yr old daughter, although I did hear about a 3 year old getting raped... there are some really sick ppl out there. Watch out for your daughter, but dont be so protective that she goes out and rebels w/ doing some stupid sh*t.

I'm 21, and i just said 18+ and in college, then its fair game. anything lower dont even flirt, cause it will just feel bad. 16 is way too young in my opinion. But at least they guy didnt go lay the pipe down that night.... but what the F@#$ is wrong with girls nowadays. Almost every girl i know has at one point dated/seriously talked to/or messed with a guy who was wayyy to old for them while they were in college or HS or something, freaking golddiggers. n e wayz, i guess its that whole bad guy, sense of adventure, im a rebel, and im horny mindset that is the downfall of today's girls. n e wayz, back on topic, you have every right to be angry, i mean most people would be angry, but it happens everyday, and thats what blows.
