Seriously, dude. Go to the doctor. The problem at this stage in the game is if it IS cancerous, it can metastasize, which means it gets legs and spreads to more important organs (Liver, kidneys, lungs, bones) and then you are really screwed.
you NEED to get this looked at. The doctor is NOT gonna shove anything up your ass or whatever, he / she will probably just want to draw some fluid or something and test it out.
Don't postpone this - your life may be on the line. I am not kidding, nor exaggerating. If it was within like 6 months, whatever, but this has been going on a LONG time. Oh, and if you ever want to have kids... you may want to get this checked out.

Try doing something nice for a total stranger, then look back at your car. Notice that the good feeling you get from helping lasts all day, but you constantly have to put stuff on your car to feel better.
