my lil puppy is sick, solutions

i have a 2 year old maltese which is a pretty small sized dog and looks like a carpet lol. but he hasnt been active lately. brought him to vet and they said his blood level isnt great (dont know the term ). i'd blame my dad cause he feeds him the food we eat like every damn day and the dog never gets his daily calcium, vitimans, protein, etc.

so what i want to know is by serving a dog more vitiman C, will it help the lil puppys blood level/pressure/temp. ? if so, what kind of dog foods should i look for that contains vitiman C?

Protein and iron are important in maintaining the blood. Science diet makes some good stuff. Go to a Pet Smart or go back to your vet and ask what kind of food would help with your dog's condition. I also think there might be something the vet can give to help as well. Ask a lot of questions...that's what you pay them for.

I'm suprised that the vet didn't give you a diet for your dog when originally went and saw him.

yeah.. wtf is up with yer vert...

mix in puppy food with adult dog food.. puppy food has a lot of stuff that dogs need to grow.. and adult dog food has stuff they need to stay alive.. sounds like yer dog needs both.. also stop letting yer dad/family feed the dog scraps.. they are downright BAD for a dog.. if yer dog sits and begs.. hard as it is.. start locking him/her in the bathroom when you eat.. when he/she barks/scratches at the door and yer family complains just respond "to keep my dog alive i have to do this.. because you are not capable of NOT feeding him/her scraps"

brought it to another pet hospital (was referred by my local one). problem the best pet hospital around the area? but it turns out my dogs red blood cells were shutting down on him. just getting weaker and weaker by the moment which will lead on to him passing away if we dont act now so we did. doctor gave us options and we went with the best one which is the full check up, x-rays, medication for his cells, blood, bones, basically everything that could've been the problem with him. but damn, its gonna cost $2250. i never expected it but i guess its worth my lil puppies life.
hes at the pet hospital right now and gonna be staying their from 3 days til a week depending how well his condition gets. hes doing fine. i bet my mom is gonna be so happy once hes out and back to better condition.

heres a pic of that little squirt

this white rug is gonna cost over 2g's!!!

I'm pretty sure dogs manufacture their own vitamin C so they don't need to get it from external sources. I'm pretty sure, but I'm not positive.

OK the one and only brand of food you should feed you animal is called "Wellness" all the fillers are fruits and veggies...not chicken byproducts, corn meal, or any kinda grains (which dogs cant digest)
here is the web site for the company http://www.oldmotherhubbard.com/
ever since I put my dog on this food, he NEVER has soft poop, is always active, and his coat is amazing! I will never EVER spend my money on anything else

As far as the vitamin C goes, if you want to give your dog more of it, put vit c pills in its food
