Girl calls me out of nowhere to hang out!!

Okay here's the situation:

This sunday I get a voice mail from this girl. She said that she lost her phone the begining of this summer and called me up out of nowhere asking me to call her back if she ever wanted to hang out. I call her back, She said she will call me tommorrow after work to see her schedule. She has not called its ****en wednesday already. So should I call her back or just text give her a gay little text and saying "thanks for calling me back :P j/k, no worries, I'm going on vacation next week ttyl".

Because i know if i call her she will not pick up because she will think i'll be pissed at her or something thats why i think texting would be a better way to get a hold of her.

don't even worry about it... that happened to me yesterday too...
I asked some chick if she wanted to go to the beach with me yesterday and she said that she wanted to hang out... and that she'd give me an answer later that day... so I end up going to the beach today and she never got ahold of me. I wasn't gonna say anything, but I decided to text her and she said that she got really busy and forget... I understand these things happen, but even when I get busy I don't forget about something like getting ahold of someone that I said I was... meh.
Anyways don't call or do anything... if you text then she's just gonna offer you some excuse, plus you'd be lying 'cause you weren't kidding when you said 'thanks for calling me back.'"

u can simply call to ask whats up. or u can not call. whatever you decide to do, just dont do it in a pissy attitude.

i still dont see whats wrong with being direct. u can play games if u want, but I duno, if I care.. I'll ask.. if I dont, I wont ask.

Its just wierd she calls me up and saids she will call tommorrow. Oh well. I'll just wait for her to call me up again. If she called me last time she will call me again.

No offense, but she may have met someone else in the meantime. She may not have time to "just hang out" with you after checking her "schedule". I mean c'mon!! Who keeps a "schedule"? I'd not worry about her, move on to the next 'dumb girl'.
