you got over a month i think you can do it!!!! if you like workout everyday....one thing i do to help out my abs is this:
lay on your back...prop your feet up at a 90 degree angle...have a friend stand above your head facing your feet (his nads will be right above you if your doing it right) and have him throw your feet to the ground like pushing on them and you have to couter react and make sure your feet don't hit the ground.
What diet pill are you taking? I dont think you should be taking any type of diet pills. Why dont you try eating right and excersizing.....Drink plenty of water, eat grilled chicken, veggies, and salads...Try not to eat many white floured foods like pasta, white bread, and white rice. If you are going to eat carbs then eat whole grain foods, like whole wheat bread, whole wheat pasta, and brown rice.
It takes hard work to lose weight. Don't drink soda, alcohol or whole milk. Like civicdude said, stay away from flour products. Drink lots of water, with lemon if you don't like plain water. Walk or jog or run if you like. Do this daily...oh and if you really want to lose some water weight...wear sweats. Good luck and have fun on your trip!

Go to your local GNC store and see what they have to say.
no no no no no. Don't go ask those people. Just look at them. At every GNC I've ever been in, the people don't look like they've ever even seen the inside of a gym. I wouldn't trust their advice.
As far as the diet pill... eh. I haven't heard anybody tell me first-hand that it works. My buddy is taking some diet pill and he's not seeing any huge results, either. Here's something to think about... drinking 20oz of soda per day for one week would get you enough calories to gain one pound of fat. Remove soda and sweets from the equation. Just think of what that could do. Cut out the bad stuff and eat things you probably won't like - fruits, veggies, etc. If you want to diet, there are certain ones that aren't bad, but please, PLEASE, don't go on Atkins. That it such bull.
Try the Karl Malone diet...
1) Don't eat shit.
2) If you do eat shit, train a little bit harder the next day.
3) Repeat.
Anyway, that shit about dying from ephedra is bogus. That's a whole other story though.
You don't need diet pills. You just need to be willing to make some sacrifices. Join a gym. Lift, then do cardio. Your skin will look less baggy if you fill it with some muscle.
littlePman - as far as supplements/pills go, if they advertise it on TV, it probably sucks.
Eating right and excersing is the best way to loose the weight and the gut. If you have a membership to a health club, talk to a personal trainer and have them set up a routine that suits your needs. 20 pounds in 50 days is definitely possible, just be careful you don't overdo it and enjoy the beach.
The most I lost was 45 pounds in less than 60 days. Summertime in the Middle East combined with working your ass off in 130+ weather is what did it for me.

the guys that work at the GNC I go to look like they're in there everyday, but then again I only have been inside of 1.
also the pill that he's taking is advertised on TV all the time.
u are going at it the wrong way........you don't need to lose 20 lbs.......you need to lose fat and tone muscle. Hydroxycut sux w/o ephedra........so does xenadrine.
Just eat right, stay away from junk food and pasta. Eat lots of fruit, especially watermelon......it helps you loose weight. And most importantly.........exercise is the key

I work at a GNC, and everday i get like 4 people comming saying they want to loose an incredible amount of weight, in a short period of time. I usually tell them it takes lot of patience and work, and its hard to see over night results. I normally recommend a good fat burner, eating right and excercising obviously .. all those and you can easily loose enough weight. However, you can't be lazy and slack off , Hit the gym everyday, or take atleast 1 day off.
It also depends on your current age and weight, for older people it is hard to loose weight, if your young and some what active .. you have good potential in loosing alot of weight.
im 19...very active....just ive been real lazy this past year and gained a pretty decent amount of weight....and i hate it...i want back to my old weight or less...which is 20lbs lighter than i am now...that was last year....i know i can lose the weight...its just i dont know if i can drop it as fast as 45 days...
your still young, you can definatly do it. 45 days might be cutting it , but you will definatly notice a difference within 45 days if your really determined to. You can do it.
Dammit I typed a response and then hit submit and got page not found.
Anyway, working your abs won't do anything to help you lose weight. You can't spot reduce (lose fat from specific areas). The only thing that will work is to burn more calories than you consume. You need to do cardio. Your body will burn fat all over at its predetermined genetic rate. You can lift weights if you want, but focus on cardio because lifting weights doesn't burn very many calories.

I remember I dropped around 15 lbs. for wrestling season when I was in highschool. I did this each season to be where I want to be physically and to drop to a more desired weight class.
I was able to do this by:
1: Eating 5-6 very small meals. I planned them the night before.
2: Eating alot slower and chewing the food correctly.
3: Drinking water with each meal, but never TOO MUCH where I'd be bloated.
4: Exercised like a MANIAC in a 100 degree wrestling room.
6: Running after practice on some evenings. Do alot of cardio.
7: Get a good night sleep, and never eat before sleep.
It all depends on how hard you work yourself. I had the help of a coach, my peers, and my opponents on the mat to keep me in shape. Now I'm a college student and beer-pong is about all the competion I have. So my best advice is to work out with a buddy who will keep you serious and motivated.
