i have a deal with my uncle, once i complete school and get my accounting degree, he will basically employ me and i will work for him, and help him out with his business's (he owns over 40 hotels/motels). i just found out that he's in the hospital, he fell off a 15 foot ladder while trying to fix a sign at his motel. he hurt his back (again) and he wasnt able to move, he might have some permanent damage. if he's paralyzed or anything, i might have to help him out. i'm only 21, but i can help him out a lot better than other people he knows. my dad would like to help, but he's 60 years old, he wouldnt be able to put up with all the stress.
i dont know, i'm just worried about my uncle (he's like a father to me), i want to finish my studies, but my uncle's business's will most likely start going under, and my aunt and cousins can lose out on a lot.
i guess this really isnt advice needed since i really dont have much to think about, if he's fine, i stay in school, if he's not, i move to iowa and help take care of him.
my uncle is the hardest working person i know, he's worth millions, but works like he has nothing in the bank and needs to feed his family, he doesnt deserve this.

its cool, its cool. he's fine, no problem with his back at all, i dont know why he couldnt move though. he injured both of his knees and broke his foot. he's going to be in a wheelchair for 8-12 weeks and is going to need a few surguries, but he will be fine.
as of right now, no quitting school, but i will have to help him out during the summer. thank god he's alright.
good to hear your uncle is doing okay, but surguries are no fun, gone thourgh two of them in my life and dont want to be put under agan good luck and stay healthy
