Okay, maybe some of you have seen my last rant about me and my gf and all the problems. Well, my life hasn't been getting better. Right now, I'm typing "blind". My left eye is shut to the point where I can't really open it for even just a few seconds before it starts to hurt like hell. The reason for this is last night I was at a get together (not exactly a party) at my friend's house. During this time one of my friends and I were looking at something on the ground (I believe it was at a car and we weren't drunk or anything). Well, my head is above his, and he happens to move his head up REALLY fast to the point where I can't react fast enough to move mine. Now, many Asians around here have basically one hairstyle. That is, short, spiky hair, with gel. Well, this hair is really hard, and his happened to have gel in it last night. So, his hair basically pokes the hell out of my eye, resulting in great pain on my part, but not to the point where I thought anything too bad would happen. I thought "Hey maybe it's just sore, I'll sleep on it and it'll be gone by the morning". WRONG. THis morning, I woke up, still in pain, and I had to get my parents to take me to the hospital.
Here's where things get better yet again. My dad decides to take my car, even though its in the garage, and my brother's car is outside, which would've been easier to take. My car had to be maneuvered to back up and turn right in order not to hit my brother's car (get it?). His car was basically behind mine, but far enough that each morning I could move my car without any trouble and without hitting his car. My dad, for some reason, was having trouble doing this, and so this is where my stupidity kicked in. I decided "maybe i can do it". Boy was I wrong. I ended up moving my car forward and not noticing how close my side mirror was to my dad's F-150, I scraped his truck up, only to be stopped when I heard him screaming his head off at me to stop. So yeah, I got yelled at for that, which, I admit was my fault. So after much shouting and crying, my brother and my mom took me to the hospital, where I found out that there's an abrasion in my eye. Good thing its not severe enough for me to have to wear an eyepatch! I ended up getting a prescription for it, and I won't be able to drive for a while (which will do wonders for me when I'm trying to get to my classes). So this ends my rant, and maybe I'll even put a cliff's notes at the end ala honda-tech.
CLIFFS:
- Carryover from exgirlfriend thread
- Friend accidentally pokes me in the eye with his hard spiky hair.
- End up scratching my dad's truck with my car after thinking I could drive with one good eye. Stupidity wins again.
- I go to the hospital and have to get eyedrops for my "cut" eye.
- I am now emotionally and physically handicapped.
Oh and BTW, my typing is decent because I've taken a few typing classes in high school, and AIM does wonders for your typing skills. My eyes are still closed for the most part lol. Thanks for reading again. Hopefully, I'll have something better happen to me in the future.
wow.. that's something else. on new years eve, me and a few friends went to a party and at midnight some party goers started to light fireworks. of course we were on the lawn away from the street. well.. they lit a few fireworks that shoot straight into the air. well by the sixth one, guess where that defected firework heads towards, yep us. my friend got startled and had a beer in his hand and he spilled it all over his face and ears.
Hope you get better. Maybe things will improve after all this stuff that happened. Don't let it get you down. You'll find a new girlfriend, and your eye will get better.
cheer up man, shit like that happens all of the time, if it was a perfect world, we'd get everything we ever wanted and because of that we'd sooner or later get bored and die off.
LOL....6 months later....I almost reply to old ass threads sometimes, then I notice the date.
BTW, how's the situation? haha
ONE MONTH LATER:
So yeah, life's been awesome! Everything's going so well now, I can't believe how lost I was before! Except, of course, the $500 bill for going to the ER for my eye, but insurance covered most of that. Oh, and one more thing, I remember when I went to the ER, the nurse taking care of my paperwork had me take a freaking EYE EXAM . I just remember not being able to open my poked-out eye, but she still asked me to do so. Anyway, long story short, EVERYTHING IS GGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTT TTTTTTT!!! The only thing that could make things better is if I had a Chocolate Brownie Blizzard from DQ.
