Autocross: Because Life is more fun on three wheels......
"I know Solo only comes one minute at a time, but what an intense, non-stop, fast-forward car control exercise minute it is. Sure, the velocity is higher in road racing, but inside the car it is slow-motion in comparison. In Solo, the turns come like machine-gun rounds. "

i want it for mostly open track. thats why i only go to practice autoX days, not the competition days.
the car is pretty neutral with the right throttle control. there is slight understeer when i on full throttle, just light how road race/open track should be like to get max speed out of the turns
One thing you may want to look in to is taking that Front Progress bar and making it adjustible. (weld on a tab that will allow you to weakin it) you may find that the car is much more managable (Less understeer) on track if the front bar is just a little weaker.

Revo short throw shifter?
Interior weight reduction?
Why bother doing the clutch and flywheel if you are gonna dump the engine. Just practice what what you have then drop in the k20 for more power.
Also, are you going to transplant the whole subframe and 5 lug?
i already have a revo ss
removing the rear seats is only about 15 lbs and the front passenger is about another 35. 50 lbs is not a significant reduction in weight at the level i'm competing in. i passed people with b16 with a stripped interior.
doing the clutch and flywheel will cost me about 300-400, maybe less due to my friends with shops. having the light flywheel will help greatly with the shifting.
most likely the whole subframe and 5 lug conversion since it won't cost me anything to get a dc5r front clip shipped to me since my friend get a whole container full of sr20 clips every month. so he can get his source in japan to get me a good dc5r clip.
why not get some headwork? Port and polish, titanium valves/springs, 3 or 5 angle valve job??
Bore out your throttle body?
custom fabricate a good intake manifold?

At this point it looks like you just need to spend some time adjusting things to get the absolute maximum out of the car, thats why I suggest converting your anti-roll bars to be adjustible... all it takes is some one whos good with a welder. (Plus it looks as though your anti-roll bars are the only Non adjustible part of your suspension....)

i really want to leave those stock to have a high(honda) reliablity
goods like just flywheel and clutch for now, then k20a clip swap next year
