This is just an initial impression since I'm still scrubbing them in. I've only got about 250 miles on them (in 1 day thats not bad), but damn. They're sticky. More than sticky, they make my Yokohamas seem hard. They're pretty quiet rolling down the road, but that could be because my other tires are so loud. They don't seem to track the truck grooves much and they turn in like a snap. Point and go... I'm gonna love these. I haven't pushed them too hard yet, I don't want to kill them before I get to race on them, but they'll get their test next weekend.
Here's a tread pic.... they seem like they'd be better in the rain than the Azenis, but I dunno for sure...

careful, they're not too good on a circuit ... with sustained lapping, they threads will fall apart. i've had it happen to me blasting down a straight away on my 8th lap in a row

I believe you're talking about the Groove of death? Ya, Kumho has that problem with a couple of their race tires. Luckily it can be prevented by using proper tire pressures and camber angles. So as long as its set up right then you shouldnt have any problems. (I konw of many guys (most are SCCA members) that do track days with The MX, so far no one has complained.
Boilermaker, Now you know why I cry when ever I have to take my Falkens off. (I loves them tires)

looks like a pretty meaty tire(tread design wise, and width)
what size are you using? 225/45-17?

You have to understand, both Falken with the Azenis and Kumho with the MX have very under rated the tire. both tires in 205 have a wider contact patch then many 225s.
What size would you say the side wall is, is it 50, or more like 60 - 65? Also, do you have any pics of how they fill the wheel well, just curious? Whats the price as apposed to a FALKEN?
Adam

The Sidewall is the same... its a 50 profile based on the 205 sizing so it fits for cars that use 205/50s standard. They just add some width to the tire to get more rubber on the road.
Falkens are 77, Kumhos are 79. So they're basically the same price.

Glad to hear you got the MX's... i LOVE mine.. grip is like no other... wet traction is a little iffy at times.. but that only seems to be under hard acceleration... i put about 10,000 miles on mine last summer and so far they are holding up pretty good... still really grippy.. and have helped me to do well in the autocross circuit...
