Seriously though, one of my friends with an MR2-S has used his set of Falken Azenis sports as his daily driver tires as well as Autocross and Ocational track days. He's put about 8,000 miles on them and they are just about bald (Great for racing, bad for rain).
Autocross: Because Life is more fun on three wheels......
"I know Solo only comes one minute at a time, but what an intense, non-stop, fast-forward car control exercise minute it is. Sure, the velocity is higher in road racing, but inside the car it is slow-motion in comparison. In Solo, the turns come like machine-gun rounds. "

I throw up in my mouth a little bit every time I see a mustang trying to autocross...
you've obviously never seen anyone good drive a Mustang at a Auto-X. There was a guy at the last auto-x i went to that got FTOD over the normal fastest guy in a Evo buy almost a full second. Any car can be a good Auto-X car if the driver is good....well almost anycar, but you get the idea.
I'm about to buy some Azenis. If I use them only for autocrossing I can expect them to last how long? Can I get 2 seasons out of them? If I go to let's say 8 events per season? So 16 events is what I'm asking...
I averaged 1 season out of a set of RT-215's... Sadly I caluclated it out in acutal driving time.... I can destroy a set of RT-215's in 4 hours of driving....
