Re: Hello!!! Im new!!

It really depends on how well you do your shopping, and if you buy name brand items or not. You could start out with what lots of people do and get basic things like an intake and exhaust. I built a spectre modular air intake for my previous car for $60, it was a great intake. I just had to buy all the pieces separately and put them together. Just something to keep in mind i guess, most intake will range from $150-300 ish.

For $1000 dollars, its going to be kinda hard to really get REAL performance gains. The best way to get gains is obviously through forced induction.

For me, my plans are more to make it look good, and maybe gain a little power. Im fine with the performance. I realize its not a race car, so I think if im going to mod it, my money is better spent in more noticable items.
