I'm currently rebuilding the engine from my daughter's 1996 Honda Civic EX. I bought the car new back in, well, 1996 and passed it down to my daughter, who has done everything in her power to trash it. At one point, she ran it out of oil and allowed it to overheat and she has since given thousands of dollars to unscrupulous "mechanics" (one of whom cross-threaded a spark plug ), without improving the car much.
So I've decided enough is enough and it's time for a complete rebuild. I've rebuilt a number of engines in my more youthful years, but I expect to need some special direction with the electronics, so I'm looking forward to everyone's helpful advice. (See my first post regarding disabling the air bags.)
