Rear Fog Lamp

So I did the "search" and not much info there... but I just wanted to know has anyone ever installed a Rear Fog Lamp in their Sedan.

Due to the foggy condition where I live, I was wondering if anyone has ever done this.

I know it's a standard in the UK to have these so anyone out there have it.

I was thinking of replacing the driver side, light on the trunk lid with the dual filament then make that the rear fog lamp, what do you guys think? I would also like to get a hold of the OEM switch for it too, if it exist.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks.

That sounds like a good idea. Seems like it could be a pretty intensive project though. There are some other cars I've seen on the roads with a brighter light in one of their tails, so if you figure out what cars have that already, you might wanna take a look at their wiring diagrams.

Good luck.

Thanks, actually that won't be that hard at all since all I have to do is go to a local junkyard and grab a dual filament socket and run a wire to the front for the switch.

I dunno about that, you never got back to me regarding the JDM tails that I wanted for my Sedan. I sent you emails and had no reply at all.

sorry if you got no response, i did have like 3 request for those at once, maybe i missed yours. i sorry for the overlook. Before when you contacted me i was trying to find another source for them, and was unsure of the pricing. The sedan JDM tails are now listed on my site.

I wonder how much it would be to get the UK switch, the lamp assembly, AND the rear bumper cover off a UK car? That would be bad ass, and the fit would be perfect.

well i guess the rear-foglight makes sure the people driving behind you don't hit you... just makes your car's ass more visible

eh, but why is it only on the driver's side? makes it ugly, it should all be symmetric.
