I cannot get the trim peice off it is there a screw or something at the bottom? I could pull harder but it's cold out and i dont want to crack it. Re: Remove Instrument Cluster

Sorry if i posted this is the wrong area but i am trying to change a burn out light bulb. Come with all the people that have changed their cluster lights to led no one will give a little advice on taking it apart.

Re: Remove Instrument Cluster

there are two screws at the top of the bezel. then the steering wheel needs to drop to its lowest setting. the bezel will pull straight out towards you, but you need to wiggle your fingers in the back towards the bottom and really yank hard. its glued in and the first time will take the most pulling. once the glue weakens, it will be easier next time. but it will still go back in place cause there are two clips that snap in. after the bezel comes off, there are three screws holding the cluster in. take those out, then unplug green and blue connectors and the cluster should pull out.
