HID and projector bundle too good to be true?

H'okay so, I was surfing the internet as per usual and I stumbled across these. I'd love to just dive in and get them because they seem like a great deal if they work but they look just like the generic ones you find all over ebay and that worries me because I've heard less than stellar review on aftermarket projector style headlights in combination with HIDs. Anyone have any experience with them?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: HID and projector bundle too good to be true?

those are terrible headlamps, and the projectors inside are even worse. they are halogen prijectors and they give you a crappy aftermarket hid kit to put it. you will not be happy with the results, however long they last before the heat from the bulbs burns up the inside of the projector.

Re: HID and projector bundle too good to be true?

you can buy those on ebay for maybe $150 for the housings and you can get a PNP kit for about $50 now. you'll have less light to drive with than the stock halogens and you'll have wasted $200. if you want good HID light on the road, retro is the only way to go. i love my TSX projectors.
