halo head light prob

ive installed some halo projecters on my 98 civic and for the life of me i cant get this dead spot in the lightin to go away its a big dip on the far left of the driver side its so bad i dont like drivin at night for the fear of hittin something layin in the road ... ive look at it and its seems the projecter bulb sits to close the the halo ring and i got no clue how to tear apart the light housin

unfortunately, the projectors are the problem and it cant be fixed. they are just crappy design. you could always swap in a better projector tho by opening the light housings and just swapping it in. like an H7 halogen valeo for example will be nice and smooth. or if you feel adventurous, swap in a real hid projector and run them off of ballasts and d2s bulbs. but a good halogen projector will be fine too.

i think i will just buy new headlights itd a lot easyer then tearin apart the ones i have now .. got any brand suggations

well, every aftermartet light ive seen has terrible output. so i mean the only choice is go back to oem light if you wanna see at night. otherwise you gotta take them apart and put some better projectors. can check www.hidplanet.com forums for more info and theyre always selling good projectors there for cheap.

how hard is it to tear apart the head light cause i hav no idea how i've look at them and they looked liked there sealed together

Hey gearbox, how much did your retro end up costing in the end with the setup you went with? If its in your retro thread then dont worry about this.... I'll find it later.
