If you buy good LEDs you wont have to worry about that stuff. LEDs are in a plastic capsule to begin with, as long as you silicone around the bare wire and connections you will be fine, Ive done many LED projects on the outside of cars and as long as they are sealed properly you will not have any problems.

On the ignition key cylinder 1 of 2 plugs, Pin 5 = Wht/Blu / Pin 6 = Wht/Blk. This is the source for the lighted key cylinder lamp or LED used on the EX models. Strictly a low current source that mirrors the actions of the dome lamp (except when set to on or off)

*bump* for a cool mod...

Quick question: How would you actually run the wires from the door through the hinge to the wires in front? Especially in the case of the back doors?

haha if you're like me its rice style with the wires just hanging outside (I put loom at least). But the proper way is through the stock rubber boot. But good luck getting it through there, especially if your door is sealed with dynamat.

just do what i did? it doesn't look too bad with a bit hanging out. I just ran the wire under the door panel (didn't even have to remove the whole thing) and sticking out to go through the boot.
