Q for XTEC HID owners!

After you installed your single beam xtec HID kit, would the kit disable high beam or would I need to do something to disable high beam? To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

I assume its for H4? If it is then you shouldn't even have the option to turn on the high beam. It should already be disabled unless they started making em differently. You should just get nothing when you flick your highbeams cuz there is no filament for the high beam.

it's not that there is no high beam, it's just that there is no wire for the high beam ground wire to go to...the high beam. you have a low beam and when you flip on your "high beams," what GreatWhite02 said will happen (get nothing)

What if you have the 9006 connectors? Does that change anything? or still no high beams?

you can get high beams if you have separate low and high beam bulbs, like the 04+ civics. you have to make a wiring harness, though, that can keep the low beams on while the high beams turn on
