sorry for the kinda bad pic, i suck at taking pictures but u get the idea...
for me, it took me while to install 'cause first i kinda suck at wiring, and second i got projectors so i kinda need to find wire which wire goes to where and stuff...
i love that first shot impulse, the definition of the light is stunning.
i got my HID's installed friday, only took 2 hours (with a break included) Acura TL H4's, 4100k, in OEM cleared housings. i'll try to get some pics up later i love the lights

mine(H4 4300k) is on backorder at Xenondepot....they said they should receive them by tomorrow actually and they will ship them next-day air. Damn i cant wait. Ill post pics as soon as i get them installed.
Bulbs from a good maker should last at least 7 years. But even when they "burn out," the lights will still light up like 50-75% or something. So they never burn out like halogens do. They will always work, just not as bright as new. Replacement bulbs are probably over $100 each and not sold in the U.S.
I have a question. Every time I see bmw hid, their beam and light output on the road is always blue. Not only that, but their lights always outshine mine and is much more visible on the road. Do they have higher color temp bulbs or something?

well, im sure the projector helps with defining lines and scattering the light alot more evenly. the bluer lights come from a higher temp, but i think anything above 5300k starts a decline in lumens.
check out this site for color. i just picked up an 8000k acumen kit, and i think its going to come out that blue like on the maxima. installation is tomorrow and im sure pics will be up.
Yeah but other cars with hid projectors have a white beam. If they do have a blue reflection, the light on the road is still white. With the bmw I saw, it was blue light on the road. And then there is the Impulse retrofit. I still can't figure out what color his are.
its all tempurature differences. imlooking at the pics on that link, the 8000k is defintely blue on the road. my buddy has an rsx with 6000k and it looks blue on the road too. im sure the majority of the oem and aftermarket kits have that lbue reflection. i know that audis have blue on the road too.
ALL OEM cars use 4100k - 4300k and nothing above that.
Gearbox... that BMW you saw might have swapped out bulbs with a higher K. I saw an Escalade here that had swapped em out, cause they were BLUE..... i was like "holy shit...... i wonder when he's gonna get pulled over"
