CvC-v01 has a little shameless behaviour in the past
I'VE HAVE EBAY FOG LIGHTS....BUT THE GLASS ON THE FOG LIGHTS ARE BROKEN FROM FLYING PEBBLES THAT HIT THE GLASS ON THE FREEWAY...

BUT I'VE FIXED THE PROBLEM..BY TAKING THE OLD GLASS ON THE FOG LIGHT...AND WENT TO A LOCAL GLASS STORE AND CUT ME A TICKER GLASS....

ive also got eBay "OEM" foglights. they were a pain in MY butt to install cuz of the lack of knowledge of wiring and electrical BS here and there. but after Bellz's DIY and a lot of help from my older and wiser brother, they are installed and USED to work great. currently, the stock relay blew out on me as well as a as-not-identified fuse. so yah, i gotta check that out sometime. THEN!!!, its time for some NOKYA H11 replacement bulbs to keep in tune with my all blue minus turn-signals front end!

i recommend them a lot. i love LIGHTS (my biggest turn-on so-to-speak on cars..LOL ) so i tend to be picky on lighting. the front will be set after a foglight kit is installed and all the lights have been upgraded. now then, if only i could even remotely afford HIDs

yeah i got the oem replica fogs from ebay, and i too got my lense cracked and i haven't tried to get it fixed yet. i had to put my switch on the button panel on the left side in the slot where the sunroof button should be ( i have an lx). in the end the fogs loog really good especially with your headlights cleared or some projectors that are chrome like the oem's are. also the foglight housing looks really good when you get them painted to match the car, i'm gonna get that done and my side mirrors ( once again i have an lx)

here is a pic of mine and it's not too great cause i was takin it as it was startin to rain:

i hate to say this, but i want them just for looks. i wouldnt even care if they never turned on, but of course people will want to see what they look like on.

i just think fog lights makes these cars look even more hot. this has been the first thing i wanted, but instead kept getting other mods done.

I agree 100%. I think they should've been standard on at least the EX. They make the car look more expensive.

About the lens cracking....it sucks. Mine are cracked too. I've been thinking about replacing the glass with some plexi or something plastic based if I could find it.

You could use something like this to protect them:

If you buy the oem fogs off of ebay you must install the wiring harness on the left hand side of the car. The switch will not fit in the middle of the car because it is designed to fit in with the mirror and moon roof switch on the drivers left hand side. The fog lights themselves are a great deal, I have installed 2 sets for people and havnt had any problems with them yet.
Hope this helps
Jeff

^yep i found that out when i did mine on the right so i just cut it added new wire in the middle and used wire connectors to put em together and it works fine. if i hadn't been tired of doin crap i would of re done it but i said screw it. i think the hardest part was cuttin the whole in the plastice for the fogs, cause i didn't have the outline you were supposed to get with it so i just started cuttin little by little and when the foglight finally fit in there i left it.

As for the switch, you can always wire it up to your parking lights. Then there is no need for a switch to go anywhere because they will turn on whenever your park lights are on. Just another idea.
