This is great info, but I have two questions, and people don't jump on me if it seems like a stupid question to you.

1) Can I install/retrofit the projectors first and just use my stock bulbs and then later add the HID's?
2) Can I install HID's without the projectors? Meaning do all HID's need projectors or can they also be installed using reflectors?

Thanks

HID Projectors only take D2S or D2S Adapted H7 (from my knowledge)

There have been OEM retrofits... I just dont like the way they look.

1) No you cannot use stock bulbs.

2) You can have 'Reflective' housing (such as the OEM Civic housings) xenons... Or Projectors.

Reflector HID bulbs = D2R
Projector HID Bulbs = D2S

^ You can ebay those, and check it out. You will need an adapter and you will look your high beams if you chose to put D2Rs into OEM housing

i just got my HID installed last night~they look NICE...
a guy who installed for me did disabled the daytime running light
by only taking off the "little RED fuse" under the wheel (inside of the grey plastic cover) BUT the "DRL" light will go on on the dash board...
i guess the HID will last longer without daytime light... i am not sure... just guessing?!?!?!

thx

Yes It will last longer cause you have control of when the lights go on and off/lasing period.
