painted headlights?

i was searching for people who painted their headlights gunmetal..I just need some tips on how to do it..im gonna open up my chrome projectors, and paint them gunmetal..i just need help! like what kind of spray paint, equipment...etc...

just get high-temp black spray paint. most people didn't use primer and it works fine. also get some clear silicone to seal the headlight back together....

wait, you're gonna do your projectors? well it should be the same materials as the OEM headlights, but i don't know if anybody's done projectors before. let us know how it goes...

Make sure you mask off the lenses REALLY good. You don't want to get any paint on them. Also make sure before you do it that whatever coating is on the lens won't come off... use painters tape and be careful with it.
