02 fog light switch

Help!

I brought OEM style fog light off eBay, its made by DEPO. but the switch come with the kit doesnt fit on my 2002 dash panel next to the power outlet, but it could fit on driver side next to curise control. but i planned to run the harness from the passenger side, cuz thats one i can find with some wires runnin throught that rubber grommet. tryin to find on driver side, but no luck, to many wires under the steering column

I searched, OEM style switch fit fine on 01 civic, but not on 02, cuz design diff, but if i get "true" OEM switch for 2002 coupe, is that goin solving the switch problem?

This is part number for switch i found from the old thread, but not sure if this is the right one for 2002? $19.....wow

the foglight switch that my eBay oem style foglights came with, fit on the dash above that flip-down coin tray (to the left of behind the steering wheel and blinker lever). There's two slim slots, and then there's a fat square space where the power mirror controls should be. In one of the slim slots, I put the foglight switch, in the other I have the led bulb for my Viper alarm, and I have no power mirrors yet so the fat square one is empty.

If you have the foglight installation from Honda (it's somewhere on this site), it will give you the right part numbers. There is one with amber light and one with white. The white # is P/N 08V31S5D110G. Does anyone know if you can use the switch for underglow neons?

It's really simple. If it doesn't fit in the slot next to the cigarette panel, then it should fit in one of the slots above the flip-down coin tray and the power mirrors switch.

the OEM style switch can fit in one of the slots above the flip-down coint tray (left driver side), but the question is I planned to run the wire harness from the passenger side, cuz theres one rubber grommet with wires running through from the engin bay, if i do this, the wire harness is too short cant reach to the coin tray! thats the problem,

if not, anyone know where's good spot to run the wire harness on driver side? cant find a same rubber grommet from driver side...

help, needed to install fast.

There is a grommet on the drivers side. Just take off the bottom panel where the pedals are and look around. I have everything running through there.

Okay, here is my dillema. It fits above the coin tray, but not next to the cigarette lighter. Thats been established. There are people on the site with EX's like me. I have above the coin tray, a cruise switch, power mirror switch, and sunroof switch. Therefore, I have no place to put the switch. What do I do?

switch

there should be a hole running thru the firewall right above the pedals. I installed the same fog from there. It fits nicely above the flip flop coin tray. in order to get the harness thru such small hole, i cut the wires just before the harness and run the wire thru the hole, then reconnect the wire back to the harness.. eliminates the need to cut open huge ass hole..

my question is, I have a factory fog light switch bought from hondaautomotive.com and its a 5 pin connector.. I wanna hook up a neon to it but i dono where to find that 5 connector... anyone have any solutions?? also, I have no idea which connetion is for the power, ground etc.. it has 3 silver and 2 copper pins.
thanks

buy a switch from honda(it costs 20-30 bucks though) and put it in the center (where the power outlet/lighter is) the oem switch looks better than the oem style ones.. compared to the oem switch the oem style looks crap...
